For the Church
There are so many ways BiblicalTraining can serve your church.
Four levels of training
Because no one level of teaching works for all people, we offer five. Basics are classes for people who have never studied the Bible. Foundations is appropriate for all Christ–followers and its core classes form a 9-month discipleship program. Academy is university–level for those wanting to go deeper and its core classes form a 2-year discipleship program. Institute classes are graduate–level seminary classes and enable churches to raise up their own next generation of leaders. The Leadership track will help you train your future lay leaders and nurture your current elder board. You can also click on Classes in the menu and see all classes by subject.
Pastor's point of view
Our best-case scenario is when small groups in a church agree to listen to the lessons on their own and then meet to discuss what they have learned about the Bible, God, themself, and others. Fellowship Church in Jackson, Tennessee has been following this model for years. Here is my interview with their lead pastor.
Layperson's point of view
Here is one testimony of what it is like to study our material in community.
Landing Pages
Landing pages are your home on BiblicalTraining. You control the content and, most importantly, the list of classes, picking and choosing which of our classes you want others to attend, and you can even provide links to your own material. Go to your account and select the option My Landing Pages to see a tutorial. You can have as many landing pages as you wish, and they are all free.

Turnkey Solution
We do not want to add any work to overworked pastors. Our resources are free so they do not impact your budget. The small group leader does not have to teach. Our professors teach. The Student Guides contain lesson outlines, summaries, and group discussion questions. The small group leader just has to pick the relevant questions or ask their own. You can download them for free or purchase them from Amazon. If your small group leader wants training, check out our course, Learning to Lead a Small Group.
We serve pastors
Our seminary-level curriculum trains future pastors in church internship programs and also encourages pastors to keep learning.
Personal growth
Many of our courses, especially the electives, will help "fill in the blanks" for topics you were not able to study in seminary. They also are a way to continue your staff's education. Here is how Linworth Church uses our course on Pastoral Care and Leadership.
Statement of Faith
We are broadly and solidly evangelical, controlled by our Statement of Faith. All of the content agrees with this statement. Speakers may discuss positions contrary to the Statement of Faith, but will not insist on any of these contrary statements. We try to major on the majors and not the minors of theology.
How do I get started?
If someone knows very little about the Bible, our class Basics of the Bible is an introduction to the Bible that assumes the user knows nothing about Christianity.
Help your new believers start their spiritual journey well by working through our course, Life is a Journey.
Small groups love learning about the Bible as a whole using 52 Stories of the Bible, which covers the structure of the Bible and introduces its main players and themes.
Find a small group of people who want to go deeper. Show them the 9-month discipleship program in the Foundations track.
Many people just look for a class that they are interested in and work their way through the lessons.
How do I go deeper?
Disciplemaking will help you nurture people who are disciples of Jesus.
Understanding Worship and Worship Pastors and Their Teams are a must for anyone leading worship.
Churches that have an internship program often take a series of core classes in the Institute program in preparation for pastoral ministry.
Lay leaders will take classes, especially in the Training track so they can serve in the church better.
Church staffs often pick a class like Pastoral Care and Leadership or the Spiritual Life of the Leader to work through together for training and self-assessment. You can hear the pastor talk about his experience here.
All of our classes are free to attend. We are a 501(c)(3) organization and accept donations to cover our costs. For more information, you can download our one-page summary and our six-page brochure.
