Once you have established the kind of church you want to be and have agreed upon a leadership culture, the next step is to identify and prepare future leaders. 

The key here is small group leadership. We strongly believe that no one should move into church leadership who doesn't already have a proven track record in small group ministry. This is where the person's character is seen, and where teaching and administrative skills are also apparent. You may want to include our class Learning to Lead a Small Group as part of your leadership's preparation. We are developing three seminars that will help guide you in the preparation of new elders.
