Which Programs or Classes are Right for Me?
With over 200 classes, we have something that's probably right for just about everyone. But here are some of our more common uses. All classes are attached to one of the Programs.
I am a new Christian
You should take our class called "Life is a Journey." This class is designed to help young believers start their spiritual journey well. It has twelve 30-minute lessons and a workbook to help you start developing good spiritual habits.
I want a class for Sunday school or small groups
Small groups love learning about the Bible as a whole using “52 Major Stories of the Bible” which covers the basic structure of the Bible and introduces its main players and themes.
I have never studied the Bible
We built our Basics program specifically for you. It assumes you know nothing about the Bible, and will lead you through the Bible, how to read it, what is teaches, and how to start growing to be more like Jesus. There are six classes totaling 18 hours.
I want a firm foundation in the Bible
Our Foundations program will give you a comprehensive biblical education. This is our premiere program and the heart and soul of biblicaltraining.org. There are nine classes totaling 70 hours. If you commit 2 hours a week to study and learn, you can finish all the core classes in 9 months. For your Bible survey take either “52 Major Stories of the Bible” or the two Old and New Testament Surveys. There are electives covering many different topics.
I want a university-level education
Our Academy program is a subset of Foundations but the classes are more rigorous. There are nine classes totaling 120 hours. If you commit 2 hours a week you will complete the courses in 2 years. There are electives covering many different topics.
I want a seminary-level education
Our Institute program contains a full seminary education. The nine core classes are the general requirements you would take in seminary. There are electives covering many different topics.
I want to prepare for church leadership
Our Leadership track is a special program for helping churches become ready to prepare leaders. It helps vet new leaders and nurture existing ones.
