Tim Mackie

Tim Mackie co-founded BibleProject, a nonprofit animation studio that helps people understand the Bible as a cohesive narrative that leads to Jesus. He was previously a pastor at Blackhawk Church and Door of Hope Church, and taught at Western Seminary. Mackie's research focused on the manuscript history of the Bible and the biblical canon. He holds a bachelor's degree from Multnomah University, a theology degree from Western Seminary, and a Ph.D. in Hebrew Bible and Jewish Studies from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
