Joseph W Handley, Jr., widely recognized as Joe, is an established leader in the world of ministry, presently holding the role of President of A3, formerly known as Asian Access. A3 is a catalyst for change across Asia, equipping leaders, supporting church plantings, and facilitating member discipleship, thereby extending its impact on communities through the gospel.

Joe's journey began at Azusa Pacific University where he not only met his future wife, Silk, but also carved his path in the field of ministry. He later laid the foundation of the University's World Mission office, demonstrating his commitment to spreading the gospel. His leadership abilities further shone as he guided the mission of Rolling Hills Covenant Church.

As an active voice in the ministry domain, Joe contributes to the Gospel-Life Blog and serves as a co-catalyst in the Lausanne Movement. His wisdom and insight are also sought in advisory capacities for the Nozomi Project and DualReach, and he holds board positions with BiblicalTraining.org and ReIgnite Hope.

In 2022, Joe introduced a new leadership paradigm through his published dissertation on Polycentric Mission Leadership. This innovative approach has been put into action at A3, strengthening their mission to empower leaders and multiply disciples and churches in Asia.

Joe and Silk, the proud parents of three adult children, guide their lives by John 1:4, symbolizing their belief in the transformative power of Jesus' teachings. For those keen to explore Joe's philosophy on leadership, his Polycentric Leadership website offers additional insights.
