Gary Lovejoy
Dr. Gary H. Lovejoy, Ph.D., has over 40 years of experience as a counselor, professor, and seminar leader. He founded Valley View Counseling Services in Portland, Oregon, and has been in private practice for 35 years. Dr. Lovejoy has taught psychology, religion, and biblical studies at Mt. Hood Community College and Western Theological Seminary. He holds a Ph.D. in Psychology, an M.A. in Religious Education from Fuller Theological Seminary, and a master’s in psychology from California State University, Los Angeles. Dr. Lovejoy is a published author and keynote speaker, specializing in depression and marital counseling. Dr. Lovejoy and his wife, Sue, have two adult children.
