ZILLETHAI (zĭl'e*ch-thī, Heb. tsillethay, shadow of the Lord)

An early Benjamite, a descendant of Shimei (1Chr.8.20; Zilthai kjv, neb).A Manassite captain of a thousand. He joined David at Ziklag (1Chr.12.20).



ZILLETHAI zĭl’ ə thī (צִלְּתַ֖י, a shadow, protection). 1. A Benjaminite family (1 Chron 8:20; KJV ZILTHAI).

2. A Manassite army officer who joined David at Ziklag (1 Chron 12:20; KJV ZILTHAI).
