Wreath
WREATH is the term used to tr. four different Heb. words in the OT. The most frequent is עֲבֹת, H6310, which appears in twenty-three passages in the OT, but is tr. as “wreath” in Exodus only. It is tr. “cords” in Ezekiel 3:25, and “branches” in Psalm 118:27 and similar passages; its essential meaning is “rope” or “cord.”
