Vaulted Chamber

VAULTED CHAMBER (צְרִיחַ, H7663, KJV HIGH PLACES 1 Sam 13:6; RSV TOMB), vault underground chamber, in preference to either KJV or RSV. In Ezekiel 16:24, 31, 39 a vaulted chamber (RSV) is a symbol of the pride of Jerusalem which accompanied her apostasy from God. See Roof.
