Valley of the Travellers

TRAVELLERS, VALLEY OF THE (גֵּ֤י הָעֹֽבְרִים). The Valley of the Travelers (Ezek 39:11; KJV VALLEY OF THE PASSENGERS; ERV, ASV VALLEY OF THEM THAT PASS THROUGH) is repointed by some scholars as the Valley of Abarim, with the Coptic VS, an allusion to a valley E of the Dead Sea in the mountains of Abarim, which included [[Mount Nebo]]. The prophet declares that the slaughtered hordes of Gog will be buried in “the Valley of the Travelers” E of the sea.
