UNDERSETTER (כָּתֵף, H4190, shoulder). An archaic KJV, ASV word found in 1 Kings 7:30, 34 (RSV SUPPORTS), referring to the supports of the laver in Solomon’s Temple.

The word, used in 1Ki 7:30,34 of supports of the laver, means lit. "shoulder," and is so rendered in the Revised Version margin.
