Uncircumcised
UNCIRCUMCISED (ŭn-sûr'kŭm-sīzd, Heb. ‘ārēl, Gr. akrobystia). A word used in both OT and NT in several ways. Literally it refers to one who has not submitted to the Jewish rite of circumcision. Figuratively, it signifies a pagan (Judg.14.3; Rom.4.9). In a similar sense it is used of the unresponsive heart (Lev.26.41) and the unhearing ear (Jer.6.10 kjv).
