Tower of the Ovens

OVENS, TOWER OF THE (מִגְדַּ֥ל הַתַּנּוּרִֽים). KJV, TOWER OF THE FURNACES. A tower in the NW angle of the wall of Jerusalem, close to the [[Corner Gate]], restored by Nehemiah (Neh 3:11; 12:38). It prob. received its name because there were baking ovens in that area.
