TOCHEN tō’ kən (תֹּ֖כֶן). A city of Simeon mentioned with Rimmon and Ashan (1 Chron 4:32). In the parallel list (Josh 19:7) the name Ether is substituted for Tochen.

International Standard Bible Encyclopedia (1915)

One of the cities of Simeon, mentioned with Rimmen and Ashan (1Ch 4:32). The name does not appear in Joshua’s list (Jos 19:7), but in that place the Septuagint gives Thokka, from which we may infer that the name has fallen out in the Hebrew. It is not identified.
