The Cup of Blessing

BLESSING, THE CUP OF (kjv, rsv, asv, “cup of thanksgiving” in niv). In the “communion” service, the church blesses the cup when it is set apart for the [[Lord's Supper|Lord’s Supper]] (1Cor.10.16).
