Tebah
TEBAH (tē'ba, Heb. tevah)
A nephew of Abraham, born to Nahor by his concubine Reumah (Gen.22.24).A city that David captured from Hadadezer. Most versions (jb, kjv, mlb, nasb, neb, rsv) call it Betah (2Sam.8.8; Tebah niv) or Tibhath (2Chr.18.8; Tebah niv).
TEBAH tē’ bə (טֶ֣בַח). A son of Nahor, the brother of Abraham, and Reumah, his concubine (Gen 22:24); the tribe descended from him. It is the same as Tibhath in 1 Chronicles 18:8; the parallel 2 Samuel 8:8 has Betah. The site is unknown.
