Tanhumeth
TANHUMETH (tăn-hū'mĕth, Heb. tanhū- meth). A Netophathite and father of Seraiah, one of the Hebrew captains who joined Gedaliah at Mizpah (2Kgs.25.23; Jer.40.8).
TANHUMETH tăn hu’ mĭth (תַּנְחֻ֜מֶת, consolation). A Netophathite; the father of Seraiah, a Heb. captain who remained in Judah with Gedaliah after the Babylonian exile (2 Kings 25:23; Jer 40:8).
