Talmon
TALMON (tăl'mŏn, Heb talmôn). A Levite porter and founder of a tribal family, members of which returned with Zerubbabel and served as porters in the new temple (1Chr.9.17; Ezra.2.42; Neh.7.45; Neh.11.19; Neh.12.25).
TALMON tăl’ mən (טַלְמֹ֣ון). The name of a Levitical family of gatekeepers in the postexilic Temple (1 Chron 9:17; Ezra 2:42; Neh 7:45; 11:19; 12:25; 1 Esd 5:28).
