Shilonite, Shiloni
SHILONITE, SHILONI (shī'lō-nīt, shĭ-lō'nī, Heb. shîlōnî). 1. An inhabitant of Shiloh, such as Ahijah the Shilonite (1Kgs.12.15; 2Chr.9.29).
2. An ancestor of Maaseiah, one of the Jewish princes who lived in Jerusalem under Nehemiah (Neh.11.5 kjv; niv “a descendant of Shelah”).
