Shepher

SHEPHER (shā'fẽr, Heb. shepher). The name of a mountain between Kehelathah and Haradah where the Israelites encamped in their wilderness wanderings (Num.33.23). It is otherwise unknown and unidentified. KJV has “Shapher.”



SHEPHER, she’ fĕr (שָֽׁפֶר, seper, beauty), KJV SHAPHER, shā’ fěr. The name of a mountain at which the Israelites camped in the period of the wilderness wandering (Num 33:23, 24). It is located between Kehelathah and Haradah. Its identification is otherwise uncertain.
