SHEMEBER (shĕm-ē'bẽr, Heb. shem’ever). King of Zeboiim, a city in the vicinity of the Dead Sea in the time of Abraham (Gen.14.2). He rebelled against Kedorlaomer of Elam.



SHEMEBER shĕm e’ bər (שֶׁמְאֵ֨בֶר). The king of Zeboiim; he and four other kings were defeated in the Valley of Siddim by a coalition of Eastern kings (Gen 14:2).
