Shackles

SHACKLES Bonds, chains, or fetters, generally for the feet of prisoners, and made of bronze or of iron (Judg.16.21; Ps.105.18; Ps.149.8). The NT word (Mark.5.4; Luke.8.29) indicates that the shackles were for the feet.
