SAROTHIE sə rō’ thĭ (A, Σαρωθιέ; B, Σαρωθεί). Head of a family of descendants of Solomon’s servants who returned from the Babylonian captivity with Zerubbabel (1 Esd 5:34). The name is not found in the parallel lists of Ezra 2:57 and Nehemiah 7:59.
