Saraph

SARAPH (sā'răf, Heb. sārāph, noble one). A descendant of Judah. At one time he was ruler in Moab (1Chr.4.22).



SARAPH sâr’ ĭf (שָׂרָ֛ף). A descendant of Judah through Shelah (1 Chron 4:22). For a time he ruled in Moab, but returned to Lehem, of which nothing more is known. The Heb. text is extremely difficult.
