Professor Role

In order to secure the authoritative state of the BiblicalTraining library, we have established several user roles. The Professor Role is for full-time teachers in accredited schools who can enlist the help of their brightest and best students. This role can create new articles and moderate changes in article written by Editors.

Who Qualifies?

"Professors" are people with a minimum degree of a ThM, MDiv, or MA in a relevant field of study. They have made a significant investment in their education and are seen as accomplished students of their field. They are people whose understand the academic world.

Professors may submit the work of their students, but the article will be listed with both their names.

It is our hope that many seminary and graduate students will make their start in the publishing world by moderating many of these articles.

Types of Articles

The staff of BiblicalTraining has pre-assigned 10,432 articles (of the 17,124 total) to this category. They may not be controversial passage but they are important. They include articles such as "Aaron, Mt Sinai, love."

The Professor role is also able to combine existing articles into one or create new articles.

Modifications

When the Editors (Role 5) make suggested modifications to an Professor's article, those suggestions go into a queue to be okayed by the Professor. If they are not accepted or rejected within a month of submission, the editorial staff of BiblicalTraining will make the determination

If you qualify as an Professor, and would like to participate in the BiblicalTraining library along with your best students, then please click here to let us know. If you are a student, you will need the approval of one of your professors.
