Plane

PLANE. A scraping tool used by carpenters, called a chisel in NIV. It was used in shaping idol images (Isa.44.13 kjv).

PLANE (מַקְצֻעָה, H5244). A carpenter’s tool used for leveling, smoothing, or removing wood. Isaiah 44:13 mentions a plane in connection with the making of a wooden idol.
