Peter of Laodicea

c.seventh-eighth century. Virtually nothing is known of this Greek theologian who is reputed to have written commentaries on the gospels. Although various passages in ancient manuscripts have been attributed to him, the only certain work of his that is extant is his Exposition of the Lord's Prayer, printed as Exposition in Orationem Domini in J.P. Migne, PG LXXXVI (2), pp. 3321ff.
