Paruah

PARUAH (pa-rū'a, Heb. pārûah, blooming). The father of Jehoshaphat employed by Solomon (1Kgs.4.17).


PARUAH pə rōō’ ə (פָּר֖וּחַ, blooming). Father of Jehoshaphat, who was one of Solomon’s twelve purveyors, with Issachar as the district assigned to him (1 Kings 4:17).
