Paralipomenon

PARALIPOMENON păr’ ə lĭ pŏm’ ə nŏn. Douay VS form of Chronicles. It is a word taken over from the LXX, where 1 and 2 Chronicles are called Paralipomena, i.e. “things passed over or omitted” (from the books of Samuel and Kings).
