Ozora

OZORA. KJV Apoc. form of Ezora.

P. The designation of the supposed Priestly source of the Pentateuch. It is dated sometime after the Babylonian captivity, at which time the professional priesthood are thought to have elaborated the ritual practices of the Jews and made them binding upon all the Jews. This is a part of the Wellhausen hypothesis of the authorship of the Pentateuch.
