Ozni

OZNI (ŏz'nī, Heb. ’oznî). Son of Gad and father of the Oznites (Num.26.16).

OZNI ŏz’ nī (אָזְנִ֕י). Eponym of a Gadite family (Num 26:16); called Ezbon in Genesis 46:16. The “family of the Oznites” is mentioned in Numbers 26:16.

International Standard Bible Encyclopedia (1915)

A "son" of Gad (Nu 26:16) equals "Ezbon" of Ge 46:16 (compare 1Ch 7:7).
