Noph

NOPH (nŏf, Heb. nōph). Better known as Memphis, a city on the west side of the Nile south of Cairo (Isa.19.13; Jer.2.16; Jer.46.19).

A name for the Egyptian city Memphis (so the Septuagint), hence, thus rendered in the Revised Version (British and American) (Isa 19:13; Jer 2:16; 44:1; Eze 30:13,16).
