Nimshi
NIMSHI (nĭm’shī). The grandfather of Jehu whose coup d'état ended the rule of the house of Ahab (2Kgs.9.2, 2Kgs.9.14). Elsewhere Jehu is called “son of Nimshi” (1Kgs.19.16).
NIMSHI nĭm’ shī (נִמְשִׁ֗י). The grandfather of Jehu (2 Kings 9:2, 14); but Jehu is sometimes called the “son of Nimshi” (1 Kings 19:16; 2 Kings 9:20; 2 Chron 22:7).
