Nectar

NECTAR (נֹ֫פֶת, H5885). In the RSV the Heb. word נֹ֫פֶת, H5885, is tr. “nectar” Song of Solomon, “honey” (Prov 5:3), and “drippings of the honeycomb” (24:13). The nectar is the sweetish liquid of plants which is used by bees in making honey.
