MORASTHITE mŏr’ əs thīt (מֹ֣ורַשְׁתִּ֔י, LXX Μωρασθι). A patronymic of Micah the prophet who was from Moresheth-gath (Jer 26:18; Mic 1:1). The city is shown on the Madeba map and is believed to be Tell ej-Judeideh.
