MEHIDA (mē-hī'da, Heb. mehîdhā’, renowned). Ancestor and family name of some temple servants (kjv Nethinim) who returned with Zerubbabel from Babylonia to Judah (Ezra.2.52; Neh.7.54).



MEHIDA mĭ hī’ də (מְחִידָ֖א). The eponym of a family of Nethinim who returned from exile with Zerubbabel (Ezra 2:52; Neh 7:54; 1 Esd 5:32; KJV MEEDA, ASV MEEDA).
