Mary of Egypt

c.344-c.421. Said to have had an infamous early life in Alexandria, she was supposedly converted in the precincts of the Holy Sepulcher, Jerusalem, whereupon she spent the remaining forty-seven years beyond Jordan in isolation doing penance for her sins. Zosimus, a priest, met her there, giving her Communion before she died that evening. Sources include Cyril of Scythopolis's Life of Cyriacus and later Byzantine hagiographers who used details from Jerome's Life of Paul the Hermit.
