LOTAN (lō'tăn, Heb. lôtān, a wrapping up). Son of Seir and father of Hori and Homam (1Chr.1.38-1Chr.1.39; in Gen.36.20, Gen.36.22, Gen.36.29 niv has Homam; jb, kjv, mlb, mof, nasb, neb have Hemam).

LOTAN lō’ tăn (לוֹטָ֥ן). The first son of Seir (Gen 36:20; 1 Chron 1:38); a clan chief of Edom (Gen 36:22, 29; 1 Chron 1:39).
