Levis

LEVIS le’ vĭs (Λευίς, G3323). An Israelite judge in the time of Ezra (1 Esd 9:14 KJV, ASV; RSV LEVI). Ezra 10:15 has “Shabbethai the Levite” for “Levi and Shabbethai” in 1 Esdras 9:14.
