LESHEM (lē’shĕm, Heb. leshem, gem). The original name of Dan (Josh.19.47), a city at the extreme north of Palestine (1Sam.3.20). Variant of Laish.

LESHEM le’ shəm (לֶ֜שֶׁם). An alternate form of Laish. It is found only in Joshua 19:47.
