LADAN (lā'dăn)

An Ephraimite, an ancestor of Joshua (1Chr.7.26).A Levite of the family of Gershon (1Chr.23.7-1Chr.23.9; 1Chr.26.21), called Libni in 1Chr.6.17.

LADAN lā’ dən (לַעְדָּ֥ן). 1. An ancestor of Joshua (1 Chron 7:26; KJV LAADAN).

2. A Gershonite Levite, and ancestor of several fathers’ houses (1 Chron 23:7-9; 26:21; KJV has Laadan in all the 1 Chron passages); also called Libni.

3. The KJV form of Delaiah in 1 Esdras 5:37.
