KISHI (kĭsh'ĭ). A Merarite Levite, ancestor of Ethan (1Chr.6.44); also called Kushaiah (1Chr.15.17).


KISHI kĭsh’ ī (קִישִׁ֔י). See also Kushaiah (1 Chron 15:17). The son of Ethan, who was appointed a singer and a player to raise a joyful sound in David’s day (1 Chron 6:44).
