Kartah

KARTAH (kar'ta, Heb. qartâh, city). A city in Zebulun given to the Merarite Levites in the days of Joshua (Josh.21.34; also in NIV of 1Chr.6.77, but see footnote).


KARTAH kär’ tə (קַרְתָּ֖ה). A Levitical town in the territory of Zebulun (Josh 21:34). Its site is unknown.

A city in the territory of Zebulun, assigned to the Levites (Jos 21:34). It is not identified. Possibly it is a variant of KATTATH, or of KARTAN (which see).
