JAHZEEL jä’ zĭ əl (יַחְצְאֵ֥ל, יַחֲצִיאֵ֧ל, God apportions). The firstborn son of Naphtali (Gen 46:24; Num 26:48; called JAHZIEL in 1 Chron 7:13); patronymic, JAHZEELITES (Num 26:48).
