IMRI (îm'rī, Heb. ’imrî, contraction of Amariah)
A man of Judah, son of Bani (1Chr.9.4).The father of Zaccur, who helped in the rebuilding of the wall of Jerusalem after the Captivity (Neh.3.2).
IMRI ĭm’ rī (אִמְרִ֣י). 1. A Judahite, ancestor of one of the returned exiles (1 Chron 9:4); may be the same as Amariah in Nehemiah 11:4.
2. Father of Zaccur, who helped rebuild the wall of Jerusalem in Nehemiah’s time (Neh 3:2).
