Hezir
HEZIR (hē'zi*chr, swine)
A priest in the seventeenth course of Aaronic priests (1Chr.24.15).One of the covenanters with Nehemiah in the revival (Neh.10.20).
HEZIR he’ zər (חֵזִיר). 1. A descendant of Aaron whose family in the time of David made up the 17th course of priests (1 Chron 24:15).
2. A leader of the people who signed the covenant of Ezra (Neh 10:20).

he’-zer:
(1) (chezir; the Septuagint’s Codex Vaticanus, Chezein; Codex Alexandrinus, Iezeir): A Levite in the time of David (1Ch 24:15).
(2) Septuagint Hezeir): A chief of the people in the time of Nehemiah (Ne 10:20).
