Hemam

HEMAM he’ măm (הֵימָ֑ם). Son of the clan chief Lotan; grandson of Seir, ancestor of a Horite subclan in Edom (Gen 36:22). KJV and ASV have “Hemam” (following the MT), but the RSV has HEMAN (following the LXX). In 1 Chronicles 1:39 the name appears as HOMAM.
