Hassenaah

HASSENAAH (hăs-ē-nā'-a. Heb. hassenā’âh; the word is sena’ah with the definite article prefixed, meaning the hated one). Father of the brothers who built the Fish Gate in the wall of Jerusalem (Neh.3.3).

International Standard Bible Encyclopedia (1915)

In Ne 3:3 the "sons of Hassenaah" are mentioned among the builders of the wall. Probably the same as Senaah (Ezr 2:35; Ne 7:38) with the definite article, i.e. has-Senaah. The latter, from the connection, would appear to be a place-name.
