Harosheth Haggoyim
HAROSHETH HAGGOYIM (hā-rō’shĕth hă-gōyīm). A town near the Kishon River in northern Palestine. It was the home of Sisera, the captain of the army of Jabin, king of Canaan (Judg.4.2, Judg.4.13, Judg.4.16). The significance of the phrase “of the Gentiles” (see kjv) is unknown but suggests that mixed races lived there. It has been identified with modern Teil Amr in the Mount Carmel-Kishon area.
