Hanoch
HANOCH (hā'nŏk, Heb. hănôkh, initiation)
A grandson of Abraham and Keturah through their son Midian (Gen.25.4; 1Chr.1.33; kjv Henoch).Eldest son of Reuben (Gen.46.9; Exod.6.14; 1Chr.5.3), he was the head of the family of the Hanochites (Num.26.5).
HANOCH hā’ nŏk, HANOCHITES hā’ nŏk īts (חֲנֹ֔כְ). 1. A grandson of Abraham by Keturah, and an ancestral head of a Midianite clan (Gen 25:4; 1 Chron 1:33).
2. The eldest son of Reuben (Gen 46:9; Exod 6:14; 1 Chron 5:3). Hanoch’s descendants were known as “Hanochites” (Num 26:5).

(1) A grandson of Abraham by Keturah, and an ancestral head of a clan of Midian (Ge 25:4; 1Ch 1:33, the King James Version "Henoch").
(2) The eldest son of Reuben (Ge 46:9; Ex 6:14; 1Ch 5:3).
The descendants of Hanoch were known as Hanochites (Nu 26:5).
